The Race Track features Quarter horse racing, Including the "World's Richest Horse Race" the All-American Futurity. Racing Season runs essentially from Memorial day to Labor day. You must be an adult to place bets, but some children and teens may enjoy watching the horses run. There is food and beverage available at several different stands.
The Billy The Kid Casino is located at the east end of The Ruidoso Downs Racetrack. The Casino features a couple of hundred assorted slot machines, a good buffet and a couple of small shops. This is an adult attraction. Open just about every day.
