CR1 Ancient Roman Republic Silver (AR) Denarius. This coin is a very nice example of a privately minted (authorized by the Roman government) Silver coin. Minted by Publius Crepusius in about 82 BC The front side (as you can see ) is a galloping horseman with the name of the minter. (There is a die defect above the horse's forelegs- as it is a "pit" it is reasonable to assume that there was foreign matter in the die when coin was struck, although it is possible that there was a defect in the silver planchet prior to minting) . The reverse side (which is not visible in the ring) is a laureate head of Apollo with a scepter over his shoulder. Set in HEAVILY gold plated Sterling Silver. Ring is size 7-3/4. (can be sized up to about size 9 at no extra charge, larger than that or smaller will cost extra) Coin is about 18mm in diameter.
Price is: $125.00

CP2 Ancient Roman Coin pendant - Copper (Ae) set in Sterling silver. I couldn't identify this coin- It is kind of unusual in that the "bust" is facing left rather than the more common right facing. An expert could certainly identify the coin though as it is in pretty decent shape. Coin is about 18mm Diameter, Pendant is about 1-3/8 X 1 inch. SOLD!
CP 5 Ancient Roman Coin Pendant- The coin is a Silver (AR) Antoninanus of Gallienus made between 253 and 268 AD . The coin is in very good condition as you can see from the photos. It is set in HEAVILY gold plated Sterling silver, and set with a 4mm faceted amethyst. The coin is approximately 19mm diameter, the whole pendant is approximately 1 5/8 inch long and 1 inch wide. Because silver coins of this era were usually pretty impure, when this coin tarnishes, it takes on a somewhat coppery tone. A light rubbing with a gentle cloth with restore the blackened silvery tone. SOLD!!
CP3 Ancient Roman Coin Pendant- Copper 3/4 AE of Constantius II (323-361 AD) in Sterling silver with twisted Copper/Silver wire border. Coin is about 16 MM diameter, and in very good condition on both sides. Lettering is sharp. Pendant is 1-3/8 X 1-1/8 inch SOLD!
CP6 American Indian Head cent (1897) pendant in sterling silver with Turquoise cabochon 1-5/8 X 1 inch. SOLD!
That's all in the coin jewelery for now- I do have a few more pieces made, but they need a little more work before I add them here, and I will add new items as they are made, so, please check back. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING, Please check my other categories! |
