Nogal is a small, picturesque community near the base of Nogal Mountain, about half way between Ruidoso and Carrizozo. There is a small Post Office / General Store / Antique Shop there as well as a couple of "Bed & Breakfast's" and some artist / crafts studio / galleries there.
